I’m not sure what rock I’ve been living under, but it took me until today to discover this thought-provoking yet straightforward poem. Today’s writer’s poem wednesday, is a fairly popular one by Linda Ellis, she causes us to reflect upon the life we’ve lived through our journey from birth towards death. In 1996 Linda Ellis wrote a poem called The Dash. ![]() He noted that first came the date of birth And spoke the following date with tears, But he said what mattered most of all Was the dash between those years. In this case, the Plaintiff obtained a legal judgement against the Defendant in the amount of 150,000 in statutory damages, and 114,000 in attorney fees (260k+ judgement).
